The whole package! Have our CUTE ICE CREAM truck cater your event in style. Perfect for parties, office events, weddings, reunions, block parties, family gatherings and more! 

 
 

PARTY OPTION A: HOST BUYS

Time, Rates and Guests

Booking our ice cream truck, Bestie, comes with a $400/hour minimum.* $400 an hour should cover between 50-75 guests, depending on menu items.** We require a 1-hour minimum for all bookings to help ensure excellent service.

*Hourly minimums do not include tax, gratuity or other booking and travel fees.
**Number of guests covered is approximate and will vary according to selected menu options.

With this option, the hosts of the event cover the costs of service for their guests.

Build Your Menu (choose any or all):

  • Single or Double scoops

  • Cone or sandwich options

  • A la carte cookies

  • Specials (sundaes, floats, and more—please tell us your ice cream dreams!!)

Hourly Minimum + Tax Includes:

  • 1 hour of service (minimum for event service)

  • 1-2 smiling scoopers

  • Cups, spoons, napkins, sprinkles (the best part!)

  • Ice cream for everyone!

Other Information:

  • Booking is by the hour. The minimum dollar amount will increase by hours added. For example, a 1-hour event will require a $400/hour minimum and a 2-hour event on the same day will require a $800 minimum.

  • Ticketing is available for larger events.

Deposits/Payments/Signatures

  • When we’ve figured out your event details (yay!), we will email a written agreement to be signed by both parties confirming your event on our schedule. This document will include all your event details in writing.

  • A 20% deposit is required to book Bestie (our ice cream truck!). The deposit amount will be determined when your event details are finalized and will be due at the time of invoice receipt. 

  • The balance will be due on the day of the event with no exceptions. Best One Yet accepts checks, cash or all major credit cards. Please make all checks payable to Best One Yet Vegan.

  • If your event’s hourly minimum is met or surpassed by your chosen menu and the patronage of your guests, no additional balance will be added to your final invoice. If your event’s hourly minimum is not met, a balance will be added to your final invoice to reflect the required amount to meet your balance. For example, a 1-hour event will require a $400/hour minimum. If your guests only order a total of $300, a $100 balance will be added to your final invoice (subtracting your initial deposit).

  • A 20% gratuity is added to all event invoices. Additional gratuity is appreciated, but not expected.

A $45 booking & travel fee will be added to all bookings outside of Boulder County.

With this option, the guests of the event cover the cost of service and the hosts covers the minimum balance, if any remains. The chart at the top of the page outlines our hourly minimum broken down by day of the week.

Requirements, Restrictions
and Other Information

Powering The Truck

When booking your event, we will ask some questions on how you’d like us to power the truck. While our generator is on the quieter side, some bookings prefer not to have the additional noise. This is perfectly okay so long as you can provide us a place to plug in. We will come equipped with the correct cords and adaptors if you prefer this option.

We will always default to plugging in if a venue can accommodate this. If there is no option to plug in, our generator will keep everything running (and cold—brr!).

Travel & Logistics

A $25 booking & travel fee will be added to all bookings within Boulder County.
A $45 booking & travel fee will be added to all bookings outside of Boulder County.

Payments, Cancellations & Things To Consider

Notice ☎️

  • Best One Yet requests up to 3 weeks notice whenever possible to accommodate a larger event. But if you need us sooner, we will do our best to make the magic happen! 

Cancellations 🚫

  • If you decide to cancel your event, please let us know as soon as you are able. You can reach us via email at party@bestoneyetvegan.com or via phone at (720)-457-9529. Please leave a message if you reach our voicemail. Cancellations via voicemail within the requested time frame will be honored.

  • If you notify us of your cancellation at least 72 hours before your event (bummer!), your deposit will be refunded in full pending any purchases for specialty or custom ingredients. If these ingredients have already been acquired, they will be deducted from your deposit refund percentage.

  • If you cancel less than 72 hours before the event, your 20% deposit is nonrefundable.  

Things To Consider 🤔

Unfortunately, sometimes things don’t always go as planned and former postal trucks don’t always run like they should. While Bestie is in tip-top shape and is regularly maintained to avoid any issues, please understand that this vehicle can require unexpected care. If we are the ones who have to cancel due to unexpected maintenance, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Weather Clause

One of the best things about Colorado is our beautiful weather—but an unexpected summer hail storm can pose some travel restrictions. As the date of your event nears, Best One Yet will make sure the upcoming weather allows for safe travel—if threatening weather is predicted, Best One Yet will coordinate with the event holders to plan the best times for arrival/departure in order to meet event expectations and avoid imminent weather. 

Weather restrictions include but are not limited to strong winds, heavy prolonged rain, hail of any size, snow or icy conditions.

Fees & PRICING

All catering deliveries within Boulder County require a 1 gallon minimum and $9/delivery fee.
All catering deliveries outside Boulder County require a 2 gallon minimum and $15/delivery fee.
All gallons are $42.99/gallon + tax.

Payment is due at time of delivery. Best One Yet accepts checks, cash or all major credit cards. Please make all checks payable to Best One Yet Vegan.

TASTINGS & SPECIALTY/CUSTOM FLAVORS

We’re happy to do a tasting prior to your special event. During truck season, please reach out to us about when you can visit us and try some flavors—when Bestie is resting for the winter, please reach out to schedule a tasting with us. Price upon request.

SPECIALTY AND CUSTOM FLAVORS

SPECIALTY: If you would like a flavor that is not listed or that is not in our current seasonal rotation, we are happy to recreate some of our previous flavors provided that the necessary ingredients are available! However, out-of-season flavors that require local organic produce may not be at their best. Tell us what you have in mind and we will do our best to make the magic happen!

  • Specialty flavors not in current rotation: Market Price (TBD)*

CUSTOM: So you’re totally thinking outside of the box? LOVE IT. Let us know your dream flavor combination and we’ll see what we can do with your vision. This option may require additional fees for tasting(s) and the customer must purchase the batch minimum (about 7.5 quarts which yields about 2.5 gallons).

All catering deliveries outside Boulder County require a 2 gallon minimum and $7/delivery fee.

Cups, utensils and serving equipment are not included.

Notice

Being a small operation, the more notice the better! Best One Yet operates best with 2-3 weeks notice to fulfill all catering orders. This ensures we have enough time and ingredients to make you something delicious! Of course, we understand that last-minute things can happen. We’ll do our best to meet your request! Let us know your timeframe and we’ll see what we can do.

Rush orders (less than one week’s notice) may require additional costs.
